A Fund of Their Own Kickball Fundraiser
Want to support A Fund of Their Own, get a little friendly competition going, and meet some great folks in our community? We’re thrilled to announce the first-ever A Fund of Their Own Kickball Fundraiser happening Saturday, September 19, at 11 am at Powderhorn Park in South Minneapolis!
When we launched A Fund of Their Own nearly a year ago, our goal was not only to help keep local girls and women in sports, but also to bring together the people who make that work possible.
Registration is just $25/person, and thanks to an anonymous donor, 100% of every registration will be donated back to A Fund of Their Own. No need to recruit a whole team—you’ll sign up as an individual player, and we’ll build the teams before game day. Come ready for a fun, friendly morning of everyone’s favorite elementary-school recess game! We welcome all supporters to join us for the event, whether or not you want to register and lace up your kicks—come hang out, cheer on the teams, and help us make it a great day!
And because the fun doesn’t stop at the final out, every registration includes a free drink at A Bar of Their Own during our post-tournament social.

Dragon Divas Giveback Night
The Dragon Divas is a lively, active alternative support group for breast cancer survivors serving the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and Western Wisconsin. Together we use the sport of dragon boating to find community and healing.
As the Dragon Divas prepare to compete in the IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival in France, we are proud to donate $1/drink purchased towards their fundraising efforts.
