Want to support A Fund of Their Own, get a little friendly competition going, and meet some great folks in our community? We’re thrilled to announce the first-ever A Fund of Their Own Kickball Tournament, happening Saturday, September 19, from 11 am – 2 pm at Powderhorn Park in South Minneapolis!

When we launched A Fund of Their Own nearly a year ago, our goal was not only to help keep local girls and women in sports, but also to bring together the people who make that work possible.

Registration is just $25/person, and thanks to an anonymous donor, 100% of every registration will be donated back to A Fund of Their Own. No need to recruit a whole team—you’ll sign up as an individual player, and we’ll build the teams before game day. Come ready for a fun, friendly afternoon of everyone’s favorite elementary-school recess game! We welcome all supporters to join us for the day, whether or not you want to register and lace up your kicks—come hang out, cheer on the teams, and help us make it a great day!

And because the fun doesn’t stop at the final out, every registration includes a free drink at A Bar of Their Own during our post-tournament social.
